Online Auction Bidding Instructions

To participate in the STAR Online Auction, you must create an account.  

Visit the Online Auction bidding page to begin. Once you are on the online auction bidding page, select the “GET STARTED” button and create your account. You will be asked to enter a credit card at this time. Please note that your credit card will not be charged unless you are the winning bidder (last bidder) for a package at the close of the online auction.

Unlike our in person, DREAM gala auction, this online auction, will have not have a “Guaranteed Bid” or “Buy Now” associated with the majority of the packages offered. The last bidder for each package will be the winner. Please be sure to check to see if you are the last bidder for a package when the online auction closes on Tuesday, May 16 at 8:00pm!

How to bid: Start browsing by scrolling down the page until you find a package that interest you. Simply click on the package to view.

Browse: Clicking on a package will give you a close-up of the image as well as a detailed description.  Please pay close attention to the restrictions, terms and conditions.  Viewing a package is also a great way to look at the value and current bid price.

Place A Bid: Click on the "Bid" or "Bid More" buttons to place your bid, or the "Buy It Now" button to purchase the package. All packages will have an opening or minimum bid amount with set incremental price points. You can bid the next increment or bid more than the next increment. 

If you choose “Bid More,” you can set your maximum bid price. If your maximum bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in your favor until you are outbid or until the online auction closes. 

You will be notified by text or email if you are outbid at any point before the auction closes and you will see an “outbid” notice at the top of your screen. If you want to keep an eye on a package, select the star icon located on the bottom right corner of the package screen.
